Yearling purchase Concierge (Society Rock) wins the Sky Bet Price Boosts British EBF Maiden Stakes at Windsor for George Scott and owners Bartram, Kilburn and Ware.
Having made an encouraging debut when finishing 3rd at this venue last month, Concierge was dropped to the minimum trip here and was sent of a well backed EVS Favourite.
Partnered by Champion Jockey Silvestre De Sousa, he tracked the early leaders from the gate before meeting trouble at the furlong pole, he was then switched left and asked to quicken. He did so in devastating fashion, coming with a storming run to get up by a neck. The manner of his win was extremely pleasing in that the horse showcased tremendous will to win under pressure, hopes will be high that he can kick on from here to bigger and better things.
