Go Bears Go (Kodi Bear) wins in impressive style on debut at Ascot for Amo Racing and trainer David Loughnane.
This looked a typically hot Ascot maiden with some nicely bred and expensively purchased rivals lining up against him, but Go Bears Go beat them with something to spare under Rossa Ryan.
Sent to the front from the gate, he was never headed and travelled with power and fluency thoughout the race before quickening off the front to win by a going away 1 1/2 lengths at the line.
After the race trainer Loughnane said ”The horse has a great mind and attitude, he’s straightforward and makes my job easy. It’s hard not to look at him as a Coventry horse. I don’t think we’ve got even close to the bottom of him yet and he will be a better horse on better ground over six furlongs. ”
Go Bears Go was purchased for 150,000gns at this years Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale.
