Havana Ball gains Listed honours in Germany

Havana Ball (Havana Grey) wins the Grosser Preis der Hannoverschen Volksbank (Listed Race) for trainer Archie Watson and owners Lone Star Investments.

Having won a a juvenile before picking up black-type in France earlier in the spring it was very satisfying to see this game filly gain stakes success here for connections. Havana Ball led the field the while way under Luke Morris and ground out the win in determined fashion repelling the closers to score by 3/4 of a length at the line. 

Havana Ball was purchased for £100,000 at the 2022 Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale.
